The Argor-Heraeus 50g minted gold bar contains 50 grams (1.608 troy ounces) of 999.9 fine gold. It features a highly polished minted finish, with a rectangular shape, rounded edges, and dimensions of 50 mm × 28.5 mm × 2.35 mm.

Produced by Argor-Heraeus—one of Switzerland’s most respected precious metal refineries and now fully owned by Germany’s Heraeus Group—the refinery is headquartered in Mendrisio in the Canton of Ticino, near the Italian border.

The bar’s obverse displays the Argor-Heraeus hallmark, its weight and purity (“50 g Fine Gold 999.9”), and a unique serial number.

Each bar is sealed in a transparent PET tamper-proof blister pack that also serves as its assay card, showing the bar’s specifications and the certified assayer’s signature.

Argor-Heraeus is accredited on the LBMA Good Delivery List for both gold and silver and is one of only five global refineries on the LBMA Good Delivery Referees Panel, alongside PAMP and Metalor (Switzerland), Rand Refinery (South Africa), and Tanaka (Japan).
