This 15 kg cast silver bar is produced by Heraeus, Germany’s most renowned precious metals refinery. Each bar contains 15,000 grams of fine silver with a minimum purity of 99.99%, and all Heraeus silver bars minted since 2014 are refined to an exceptional .9999 purity.

The front of the bar is stamped with the Heraeus name, silver purity, weight, and the refinery’s iconic “hand with roses” logo encircled by “Heraeus Edelmetalle Hanau.” The bar measures approximately 275 mm x 105 mm x 71 mm.

Weighing 482 troy ounces, the Heraeus 15 kg bar is one of the largest silver bullion bars available to retail investors—offering significant metal exposure at low premiums, and just under half the size of the 1,000 oz bars traded in the wholesale market.

Heraeus sources all silver responsibly in accordance with its strict ethical procurement policies and is a long-standing member of the LBMA’s Good Delivery List. The Heraeus refinery has operated in Hanau, near Frankfurt, for more than 160 years.
