The reverse features an original interpretation by Dominion Sculptor Phil White of a Gothic-style grotesque inspired by a carving found on the East Block of the Parliament Buildings.

The design depicts the mythical Wild Green Man, with foliate hair, brows, moustache and beard framing a fierce expression. Wide, staring eyes and bared teeth add to its striking appearance. This humorous yet slightly unsettling Horned Green Man sticks out his tongue, with a grimacing mouth topped by a jaunty moustache. His face is framed by stylized foliage, while deep-set eyes peer from beneath heavy brows. Two small, goat-like horns curl from his forehead, adding a playful yet mysterious character to the design.
