Produced by the Chinese State Mint, the Chinese Gold Panda is one of the few coins with a new design released every year.

The 2017 issue features a single panda holding a bamboo branch on the reverse and the Temple of Heaven on the obverse. Responding to public demand, the mint has also reinstated the coin’s weight and purity markings.
